First occurrence - a warning is given and the student does participate in class.

Second occurrence - student sits out of class until clothes and/or sneakers are brought in. 

Ongoing occurrences - communication home to parents/guardian.

Students who are already under a doctor's care should bring in a note from home with a short explanation of what the problem is and how long the student should remain out of class.

Students coming to school and suddenly not feeling well enough to participate in class will be directed to the school nurse for assessment. A determination of whether a student should return to class or not will be made by the school nurse. 

Students showing up without a note from home or the school nurse will be asked to change out and participate in class activities to the best of their ability.

Students who do not remember their combinations need only to ask their teacher for the combination. Students should not rely on other classmates to open their lockers for them.

If a student forgets to lock their lock and it "disappears", the student is responsible for letting their teacher know about the loss, and looking for the lock in the locker room on their own time. Clothes in the locker should be placed in another secured area or brought home until the lock is found or replaced. Students will be charged $5.00 for a replacement lock.
